Support for the Journey

My goal is to help you re-imagine your life.  With extensive experience in hypnotherapy, ketamine therapy, and counseling, and a vast history of client success, my individualized, positive approach will help you attain your goals.

**PLEASE NOTE:  Because I am practicing telehealth only at this time, I am not seeing hypnosis or ketamine clients.  I will provide updates when this changes.

Professionalism and Experience

I believe healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and valued. As a Doctor of Behavioral Health, Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapist, my work is rooted in helping people restore balance—mind, body, and spirit.

My academic path began at the University of Houston, where I earned a Bachelor of Science, followed by a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling—where I was honored to be named "Top Graduate Student." I later pursued my Doctor of Behavioral Health from Arizona State University to deepen my knowledge of integrated care and the healing power of connection between physical and emotional health.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in private practice, community clinics, and psychiatric hospitals, supporting people across all walks of life—from children as young as four with complex needs to older adults navigating grief, illness, or life transitions. I’ve walked alongside Veterans, first responders, people recovering from addiction, individuals facing homelessness, and those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or chronic pain. Every person I’ve served has taught me something about strength, hope, and the human spirit.

Whether someone comes to me for support with a health journey, managing stress, healing from heartbreak, or creating new patterns in their life, I tailor my approach to fit who they are. I integrate a range of techniques—including Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based tools like hypnosis. Clients often tell me they appreciate my intuitive, eclectic style—where science meets soul.

What matters most to me is listening—really listening—to what my clients need, honoring their goals, and working collaboratively to find what truly helps them thrive.

Outside of my work, I find joy in the simple and sacred moments: spending time with my husband and family, relaxing with my dogs by the lake, reading a soul-stirring book, cooking something nourishing, or learning something new—like how to play the guitar. I love the mountains of Breckenridge, the beaches of Aruba and Grenada, and the occasional ride on the back of my husband’s motorcycle. I'm also an active member of the Junior League and deeply enjoy giving back to my community.

Professionally, I remain engaged through my memberships with the American Counseling Association, the American Psychological Association, the American Mental Health Counselors Association, the Texas Counseling Association, the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists, and Practitioners.

Above all, I see every client relationship as sacred. It’s a privilege to do this work, and I’m honored to walk beside those who trust me with their healing journAs a Doctor of Behavioral Health, a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, and a Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapist, I specialize in helping people achieve balance in mind, body, and spirit.

I received my Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston, a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (where I was awarded the title of "Top Graduate Student"), and a Doctor of Behavioral Health from Arizona State University.

I truly enjoy helping people.  Whether it is a weight loss journey, help with chronic pain or stress management, learning new behaviors to improve overall outcomes, or learning how to manage other mental health issues like depression and anxiety, I collaborate with my clients and other professionals to maximize effectiveness.

I truly listen to what my clients want and need, and I help them find solutions by incorporating Solutions Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Hypnosis/Mindfulness exercises into my practice.  I offer a very eclectic, unique, and tailored approach to wellness that my clients appreciate.

I have worked in private practice, a psychiatric hospital, and community healthcare for the past ten years.  I have experience working with children and adolescents as young as four with severe mental health issues and adults of all ages.  I have worked with Veterans, prisoners, homeless populations, people with eating disorders, addicts, emergency service personnel, athletes, divorced parents, people experiencing suicidal and homicidal ideation, and more.

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my husband, children, extended family, and friends.  My favorite places include the mountains of Breckenridge and the beaches of Aruba and Grenada.  I love my dogs, reading great books, cooking, learning new things like how to play guitar, and sitting on my back porch looking out over the lake.  You might even find me on the weekends on the back of my husband's motorcycle!  I am an active member of the Junior League and love volunteering my time to help others.

I am also an active member of the American Counseling Association, the American Psychological Association, the American Mental Health Counselors Association, the Texas Counseling Association, the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists, and Practitioners.
